Peter Morales is saying, indeed I have been saying similar things for about a decade now, but I guess my endorsement won't help to become the next President of the UUA either. . . Still I do wish him well in his endeavor.Robin Edgarhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06208142626285495635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8654687928306938112.post-89933182410023538402008-01-31T23:17:00.000-08:002008-01-31T23:17:00.000-08:00I took a look and I am starting to think that Rev....I took a look and I am starting to think that Rev. Peter Morales may not get very far in his campaign to become the next President of the UUA by openly and publicly describing Unitarian*Universalism as a "tiny fringe religion" on the home page of his Peter Morales for UUA President web site, even if he happens to right in that quite regrettable assessment of contemporary Unitarian*Universalism. In fact Rev. Peter Morales may well lose support of U*Us precisely because he is right in making that sadly realistic observation about the sad state of U*Uism. . . Most of the U*Us I know react rather badly to being so frankly and openly "disillusioned" and seem to much prefer remaining "illusioned in the first place" as Rev. William Sloane-Coffin would say. . .Robin Edgarhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06208142626285495635noreply@blogger.com
